Brulin has an exciting career opportunity for an experienced Maintenance Technician.  In this role, a candidate is responsible for the assembly, installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of all machinery, physical structures, pipes, electrical, and hydraulic systems in the production plant and office areas of the business.  This position is responsible for overseeing or assisting in installations, repairs, and upkeep of facilities and equipment.   

Position Objectives & Primary Responsibilities

• Troubleshoots and repairs all production, plant, and office equipment.
• Performs routine preventative scheduled maintenance and repairs on bottling line and production machinery including motors, pumps, cappers, pistons, plumbing components, lighting, rollers, belts, printers, labelers, carton erectors, racking, wood and metal structures, PLC’s, automation, dock levelers, and conveyors.
• Works with maintenance leadership to effectively plan and prioritize machinery down time.
• Maintains necessary tool and spare parts inventories to minimize down time.
• Operates necessary machinery including forklifts, reach trucks, boom and scissor lifts, hoists, jacks, pumps, pneumatics, general power tools, pipe fitting tools, and compressors.
• Monitors machine performance and reports proactively on potential issues.

 Position-Specific Skills Required

• Mechanically or electrically inclined with solid analytical problem-solving capabilities, preferably with 3 years’ experience in field.
• Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, blueprints, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
• Knowledge and experience with Microsoft products / Experience with CMMS systems
• Experience in electrical, plumbing, pneumatics, machine calibration, general carpentry, piping.
• Ability to work with mathematical concepts.
• Ability to use common precision measuring instruments.     
• Knowledge of 5s fundamentals
